Raffles American School SAT Prep Program
(for the March 8th, 2025 SAT test date)

The Raffles American School, in arrangement with Testtakers, an American-owned, Singapore-based company specializing in SAT preparation, will be offering an on-campus SAT prep course for juniors and seniors.  This program will be held at RAS and will cover all aspects of the new-format Digital SAT (dSAT). The instructor will also talk broadly about the American university application process.

This program is available only to present Raffles American School students.

Testtakers was selected based upon their ability to provide a quality program at a special price. Testtakers Program Director Jeremy Craig is a graduate of Columbia University with 30 years experience in SAT preparation. Over the last 23 years, Testtakers has run on-going SAT preparation programs with most of the other leading international schools in the region. The course includes 19 hours of classroom time, three computer-scored diagnostic tests, a Study Buddy flashcard box, and full course materials. The comprehensive fee is S$1250, which covers everything.  Please find the schedule below.

All instructors are American graduates of top American universities with an average of over 20 years of experience in test preparation.  The focus is on test taking strategies, techniques, and tricks, not tedious practice and rote memorization.  The SAT is just one consideration for applications to American universities, school work is more important.  The program will increase scores quickly and efficiently, leaving time for sports and other CCAs that will make a difference in applications to competitive American universities.
