Stamford American International School SAT Prep Program
(March 14th, 2020 SAT test date)

 

At the request of the Stamford American International School, Testtakers Singapore, a local company specializing in test preparation, will be offering a SAT preparation program for 11th & 12th graders. This program will be held at Stamford on Friday afternoons leading to the March 14th, 2020 test date. This program will cover all aspects of the SAT including the essay.

 

Testtakers has held regular test preparation programs at Stamford over the last six years and works with most of the other leading international schools in the region such as UWCSEA, OFS, Tanglin, GWA, SJI Int, etc.  Testtakers has been selected based upon its ability to provide a quality program at a special price.

Superior Instruction

All instructors are American graduates of top American universities with an average of over 18 years of experience in test preparation.  The focus is on test taking strategies, techniques, and tricks, not tedious practice and rote memorization.  The SAT is just one consideration for applications to American universities, school work is more important.  The program will increase scores quickly and efficiently, leaving time for sports and other CCAs that will make a difference in applications to competitive American universities.

What's Included in the Program

  • 16 hours of classroom time

  • 18 additional hours of optional sessions (Spotlights)

  • Binder notebook with course notes

  • Testtakers Study Buddy flashcard box

  • 3 computer-scored diagnostic tests

  • Official SAT Study Guide

  • Optional Mindfulness training session

Students enrolling in this program also have the option to attend a total of 18 hours of extra Spotlight sessions at no extra charge.  These classes will be held in rented classroom space at the SP Jain School of Global Management instead of at Stamford.  This is also the venue of the diagnostic tests two and three. 

Fee

S$1150, which covers all course materials and GST.  Upon registration, students will get the Study Buddy flashcard box to get an early start on things.
