Tanglin Trust SAT Preparation Program for the March 8th, 2025 digital SAT

At the request of the Tanglin Trust University Advising Centre, Testtakers Singapore, a local company specializing in test preparation, will be offering an SAT preparation program for 6th form students. This program will begin on January 13th and will be held largely on the Tanglin Trust campus on Mondays after school leading to the March 8th, 2025 SAT test date. This will cover all aspects of the new-format Digital SAT (dSAT) as well as touching broadly on the American university application process.

This program is open only to present and past Tanglin Trust students.

Testtakers has held many test preparation programs at Tanglin for 15 years, and has been selected based upon its ability to provide a quality program at a special price.

Testtakers’ Program Director Jeremy Craig is a Columbia University graduate who has worked with many Tanglin students over the years.  All instructors are American graduates of top American universities with an average of over 20 years of experience in test preparation.

The focus is on test taking techniques and tricks, not tedious practice and rote memorization.  The SAT is just one consideration for applications to American universities, school work is more important.  The program will increase scores quickly and efficiently, leaving time for sports and other CCAs that will make a difference in applications to competitive American university.

What's Included in the Program

  • 18 hours of regular classroom time

  • 18 hours of optional Spotlight sessions

  • Binder notebook with course notes

  • Testtakers Study Buddy flashcard box

  • 3 computer-scored diagnostic tests

  • Optional Mindfullness session

Students enrolling in this program also have the option to attend a total of 18 hours of extra-help Spotlight sessions at no extra charge.  These classes will be held in rented classroom space at Balmoral Plaza.

Fee
